The Gowrie (Qld) Inc. child centres operate at locations close to the Brisbane CBD and at Capalaba on Brisbane’s southside. These services offer high quality early childhood education and care for children from 6 weeks to prep entry, with an emphasis on building relationships, quality interactions and promoting early learning
Staffed by qualified and experienced early childhood professionals, all services are accredited with the National Childcare Accreditation Council.
The centres operate for 50 weeks, with a two week closure over the Christmas and New Year period.
Enrolments for the child centres meet the Australian Government’s Priority of Access Guidelines.
The Gowrie (Qld) Inc maintains a central waiting list for the three inner-city child centres (Lady Gowrie Love Street Child Centre, Lady Gowrie Quarry Street Child Centre, and Lady Gowrie Warry Street Child Centre). Families may go on the waiting list for all three centres or indicate preference for a particular centre.
The waiting list for Degen Road Child Centre at Capalaba is maintained at the centre.
